Battery Charging

Turn the power ON OFF at the charger, not at the battery terminals Make sure the area around the charger is well ventilated, clear of flammable materials, and free from heat, humidity, water and dust. Clean the battery terminals and position the battery as far away from the charger as the leads will permit. Wire Harness Inspection

With the ignition switch turned to OFF, disconnect the regulator rectifier 4P connector. Measure the voltage between the Red white wire terminal (+) of the wire harness side connector and ground (-). There should be battery voltage at all times. Check for continuity between the Green wire terminal of the wire harness side connector and ground (-). There should be continuity at all times.
