Luggage rack and hand rail

Apart from some rare GTL equipment used on police machines, the factory have produced three types of rear carrier. Each was designed to use the two top shockabsorber mountings and two extra lugs on the rear top two frame tubes, using four nuts and bolts in all. They had a folding horizontal rack which had rubber insets in it. There was the GT and S from 1969 to 1970, SF and 1000 — none fit the tail fairing machines.

The 1200 and late 1000 (and some GTLs) use a Honda-type rear hand rail. It is located in four places on the Triple (six on the GTL — its rear flashers should be mounted to it) using similar fittings to those used by the luggage rack. It may be possible to mount this rail on other machines.
